Guide
How to connect your business to FBR Digital Invoicing
You apply for Digital Invoicing in IRIS, get a sandbox token, post a test invoice for each scenario IRIS assigns you, and then receive a production token for real invoices. In Bilkul, the FBR setup guide takes you through each step and shows what to type on every IRIS screen.
What you need before you start
- Your business registered for sales tax. Bilkul does not register businesses for sales tax.
- Your company's own IRIS login. Bilkul never asks for your IRIS password.
- Your legal name, NTN or registration number, address and FBR province, as IRIS shows them.
- Your business activity and sector, as you registered them. They decide which test scenarios IRIS gives you.
The steps
Enter your company details and business type
In Bilkul's FBR setup, add your legal name, NTN, address and FBR province, then pick your business activity and sector. FBR prints your details as the seller on every invoice.
Apply for Digital Invoicing in IRIS
With your own IRIS login, fill in three screens: Integration Mode (choose PRAL), Technical Details, and IP Whitelisting. Bilkul shows the value for each field, with a Copy button.
Copy the sandbox token
Once PRAL approves the application, copy the sandbox token from IRIS → Digital Invoicing → Sandbox Environment and paste it into Bilkul. It is stored encrypted and never shown again.
Tick your scenarios
The same IRIS screen lists the sandbox scenarios assigned to your business. Tick exactly those in Bilkul.
Send a test invoice for each scenario
Bilkul prepares a test product, a test buyer and a draft invoice for each scenario, then validates and submits them to FBR's sandbox. Sandbox invoices are tests, not real tax records.
IRIS confirms and gives the production token
When FBR has accepted a test invoice for every assigned scenario, IRIS gives the production token. Copy it from IRIS → Digital Invoicing → Production Environment → View Security Token into Bilkul.
Send your first real invoice
Make an invoice with your own products and customer, press Finalize and validate with FBR, then submit it to FBR. It is a real tax invoice.
Questions about connecting
What do I choose on the Integration Mode screen?
Choose PRAL, as Bilkul's setup guide shows. Bilkul is independent software: it is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, FBR or PRAL. It sends your invoices to FBR Digital Invoicing using your company's own token.
Why does IRIS ask for an IP address?
IRIS asks for the address of the server that sends your invoices to FBR. Bilkul's server sends them, so its address goes on the IP Whitelisting screen. We give you the address during setup.
I already have a production token. Do I start again?
No. Paste your production token into Bilkul's FBR setup straight away. That step doesn't wait for the sandbox steps.
Can my accountant do the setup for me?
Your accountant can work in Bilkul with their own sign-in once your owner or an admin invites them. The IRIS application is made with your company's own IRIS login, and in Bilkul an owner or admin saves the tokens and marks the IRIS steps done.
